For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 393 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 393 | This was brought up briefly on another post, but I thought I would start a new thread about casters on the tech tip engine dolly/caddy. What load capacity casters have people used on the dolly from the tech tip? I was thinking that 250lb capacity would work as it would supply 1000lb total. But Tim suggests (in the other post) to use 500lb or 600lb casters. What's the science behind caster capacities? (I'll be building one soon for a 235 (I hope)). Any information greatly appreciated. Thanks.
It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.
