"my 1952 Chevy truck" Can't you measure it? It's an AD.
2. If you have a 57 and a 52, all the answers are in your driveway?
3. Anything can be "done" with fabrication and money.
4. Not too many swaps "slip" together.
5. Regarding the subject of frame swap: This is absolutely not the way to upgrade your truck. Moving from AD to TF is not a big upgrade really. Buy various upgrades made for AD or buy a specific "modern" frame for an AD.
Glad to help if you explain a little more. Define what you think upgrade is, and what kind of truck usage you want. Someone, somewhere has done everything you can imagine but it may not have come out as they envisioned.
