I talked to a guy who has a process that repairs rusted steel panels. Sandblasts to white metal, installs a copper backing plate then sprays metal with a mig welder with an air assist (made by Miller about 15 yrs. ago). I saw some amazing before pics & fantastic finished fenders & doors including a 40's convertable, that he did years ago. The pics show being able to see ALL the way through the door on the right from the left side. Very impressive but that car was garaged & probably not a daily driver. Anyone have experience with this process? Long term?
