The torque wrench I use doing warranty claim inspections gets calibrated once a year. It's surprising how many cars I find with loose lug nuts after tire changes, wheel balancing, etc. from places like Firestone, Goodyear, and a bunch of the other national franchise places, usually after a wheel parts company with the vehicle!
