I have replaced the old Rochester carb with a pair of Tom Langdons dual carbs. Last summer the heat soak is a real problem. Even at long stop lights the engine starts to overload. Has anyone dropped the float height and by how much to help remedy this problem? I have even made a double heat shield to run under the carbs to deflect some of the exhaust heat.
