55.2-57 wiper motor looks
like this and has a mechanical switch connection as Tom sez .... the 58-59 motor looks
like this and has an electrical switch
like this, and unique drive arms
the 2 motors are not interchangeable because the link arms are quite different, the early one uses the same arms as a vacuum style - if you have an original 59 electric setup you need to find an original motor or the vacuum arms to mate with a repro motor
