The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot '60-'66 Trucks Threaded holes in radiator support bracket and grille support - what for?

1961 Apache, I see there are four threaded holes on the top of the radiator support bracket. I also see four threaded holes on the top of the grille support where the hood latch is mounted. Two of these hole are located on the inside corners of the front fenders. Can anyone tell me what these are used for?
