everyone is entitled to their opinion I have had several air ride equipped daily drivers.As for the reason why??
its adjustable! making all driving conditions possible.stock height AD trucks handle horrible in every way, body roll in turns and look goofy as [censored] with the fenderwell gaps even with 16" wheels.
To each their own, some folks like bone stock trucks.I prefer mine a bit lower than that.I could care less about laying frame
