So I bought a very nice thickstun dual carb intake,I'm assuming the intake is aluminum,I also bought a set of original febton headers with the built in heat riser,what a great looking piece.then I thought about heat degrees. How much heat xan an aluminum intake take before it starts to melt.does the chevy 261 produce enough heat to melt the aluminum intake?any an all messages are welcomed.
