The gasket does not have any markings to indicate top or front. One side of the gasket is metallic the other side is material. Which side of the gasket goes up? Is the metallic side against the block or the head? When installing are there any other techniques or procedures to follow? This is my forst time rebuilding an engine and it has been a great experience. The forum has been GREAT! | | |
