I inspected a warranty claim on a late model Cadillac recently- - - - -a headlamp assembly replacement- - -parts and labor- - -was a little over $1400.00, and it's a chronic failure item due to the fact that Caddy in their infinite wisdom put the high voltage power supply that operates the light directly in front of the front wheel where it's constantly exposed to rain, salt spray, mud, etc. Smart!
