I believe the brakes are adjusted properly, but it's so hard to tell with the two star wheels on each cylinder. Over the weekend I will try adjusting the shoes tight against the drums and re-bleeding as some Stovebolters have suggested. I'll be back to let everyone know how that worked.
Excellent comment. Will be waiting to see results/hints obtained by this effort. As Yar says, we are all learning from each other.
