3B 'Bolter 3 Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 B. C. Canada	Hy ten, Maple Leaf trucks were 2 1/2 ton and Three ton trucks. In 1939 and newer the three ton trucks were powered by GMC full precision bearinged engines. The 1600 series trucks were the 2 1/2 ton trucks and the 1700 series were the 3 tons, hope that helps.
