I've taken the hood apart on my 46 and have been working on it for the last few weeks. Because of all the rust removed and down to bare metal, I want to put a very thin layer of bondo on to fill in rust pit marks. Problem is the two sides of the hood flex as I have removed the side doors and hinges to work on the hood. question is with the thin layer of bondo on will the flexing from sanding crack or break the bondo, or is it better to assemble the hood to make it more rigid, block it up on the floor and then sand. If anyone knows what I should do please advise. Thanks Bob T
