3B 'Bolter 3 Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 B. C. Canada	Hy Guys, from 1955 to 59 American GMC trucks up to and including the 500 series were powered by Pontiac V8s or GMC inline sixes, above the 500 series the power was either an Oldsmobile V8 or GMC inline six engine, hope that clarifies.
