That's the color my wife wants me to paint it.
Looking at the photo, there isn't much margin for error. Is there enough room to get a towel between the dimple and the tire?
Can you measure the distance from the the decortive accent bump on the bottom front side of the fender to where the bottom of the dimple starts?
I'll assume that the dimple is absolutely perpendicular to the tire. Having the inside demension ( 5 3/4 inches from the inside) and the up from the bottom should place it just about right. The bracket placement can probably be adjusted somewhat.
As far as the bedside structure that supports the spare bracket, I haven't a clue. I would assume that there is some re-enforcing backing plate there to capture the bolts from the bracket. Is there anything obvious?
By the way, i'm from Oceanside. Anywhere close to me?
I'll be heading up to Compton in West LA @ noon tomorrow (Sat). On my way to the body and paint guy to bring him some pieces. Would love to have a peak at the assembly and, of course, to ogle your truck.
