My question has more to do with long range planning for what transmission to use in my truck. I plan to tow it to truck shows when finished. The truck has a smallblock of unknown origin and I am researching engines, transmissions, brakes, rear axles along with wheels and tires. When finished I will tow with my motorhome and I will have some form of supplementary braking.
