Here's some pictures of my '52 GMC with original finish hood hardware. hood latch pin , latch plate , hood hinge I believe they were cadmium not zinc or galvanize finish, but you may have trouble finding a plating company to do cad plating because of the EPA regulations. You will notice that the springs on the hood hinges have a black oxide finish. Mike
