I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself as a new member in Houston, Texas. I'd be happy to get to know any member in or around Houston, Texas. I'm also up around Crockett, Texas too, so I'd like to extend that intro up into the piney woods.
I just bought two trucks; a halfway running 1965 LWB Fleetside with a 327 and granny 4 speed. The poor ol gal is so beat to hell, but she drives. Not a straight piece of metal on her. The other truck is a 1966 LWB Fleetside in pieces. It is in better condition body-wise, but totally in pieces. It will take longer to get it going.
My plans are to keep the '65 as she is and modernizing the '66 as I build it.
I am not exactly new to the 60-66 C-10. I had a couple (1965 GMC Panel and a 1963 Chevy LWB) back in the day.....some 40 years ago. I should never have gotten rid of that '63, ugh. Much time and brain cells have past and now learning them again.
