Hello,
I've been asking a lot of brake questions lately, but I figure stopping is rather important. I've given up my search for P30 axles to swap in for now, so it's back to trying to fix the OEM brakes. Having a hard time finding information about certain parts though. I'm sure the hardware sitting inside those drums is tired. Namely the springs. If it's like any of the other spring on the truck they snap under the slightest stress. I've had a hard time coming up with any part numbers, or anyone still saying they make brake hardware kits for a 1951 Chevrolet 6400. I've found wheel cylinders, I know where to have the shoes relined at locally, brake lines are pretty straight forward, but hardware seems tricky to find. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Kyle
