Scott- Each end of the hood hinge should have a "pin" sticking out of it. These pins are part of the hinge and not a seperate piece. The pins fit into a small clip at the back and into a hole on the hood ornament at the front. It's fairly common for one or both of the pins to break off since they are just rolled sheetmetal. You may be able to repair it, or you may be able to find a good hinge and bolt or rivet it back on.
