Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 1,421 ODSS President | | ODSS President Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 1,421 | I wasn't about to spend $75 + shipping for a pair of reproduction arm rests (which I've heard break easily), so I bought these leather cabinet door pull straps for $3.50 each. http://imgur.com/sQJkDpB. Those are excellent! I made mine from an old belt not nearly as nice as those but functional. They keep your hands from pulling on the door latch which weakens it or the door sill which soils it. I've since replaced them with these as pictured below: These are from a buick with the same spacing as our AD's and are very sturdy. Second picture. Third picture.
