I'm looking into buying a Chevy truck between the years 1959 and 1966, and I'm wondering what kind of work would need to be done to make one a daily driver and what I should pay attention too when buying one of these trucks.

If it is not broken then don't fix it.
So if nothing is wrong with the truck then gas her up and drive.
Now when does it take to make these trucks daily drivers?
What do you mean by that question?
Is this a question of do I have to drop in a small block, fuel injection, automatic 6 sp OD transmission, disc brakes?
No stock will work fine as a daily driver. Jeffrey
