Thank you Bart for the compliments. The truck looks much nicer now that it has been restored. Ron, thanks for your input. I have a friend who is a fantastic mechanic (he installed the HEI) who has all the tools. I will probably ask him to look at the truck. I don't mind doing some work but I do want to get to the root of the problem.
