Hello to all, first let me thank you for all your help with my various questions, you have help immensely as well as provided morale support, thanks again! New ?? My 57 3100 needed a new generator so I made the switch to an 110 amp alternator. After many tries I got the the universal bracket set up, made a new upper bracket and wired the unit. It is a one wire unit which I ran back to the battery and grounded the alt to the engine. I knew before I did this I was not going to able to use my dash guage as I didn't think it was safe to wire the guage into the main wire. My question is two fold, is there any way to use the existing guage with the new alt and even if I can't I want to get another gage which I can mount in the cab, but where do I wire it in.? There seems to be two stab connectors on the side of the alternator. Are those for the guage? How do it hook up? Thanks Kevin
