I am wityh you 4/floor - I like wrenching but got tired of stained skin - plus any petroleum stuff this side of vasoline can't be good for you. I feel much better now that I keep that stuff off me and when I have to go to get a bolt or something at the store, pulling the gloves off and having clean hands ready to go is a huge help.
