On a 62-66 C10, is there a difference in the passenger side and driver side headlight mount? I was having a hard time adjusting my driver side headlight because the left/right adjustment screw was on the right hand side (when facing the front of the truck), as well as the spring. Since there is a square hole on the left hand side of the headlight backing plate for an adjustment screw, I moved it over there. This is the way the picture in the assembly manual shows. But in order to use the adjustment screw in the slot in the mount on the left, I had to rotate the mount counter-clockwise, which in turn made the bulb tabs not fit into the mount so that the bulb can sit upright and the bulb now sticks out further than the passenger side by about 1/4 in.
Is there something else I need to do, or do I need to put the adjustment screw back into the right hand hole? Seems that the screw stays loose no matter how far I back it out to adjust the light to towards the passenger side.
