Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | Chances are good the axle is wider where the wheels mount than what you have, making for a wider stance. If you've checked that and it's not a problem, or you're not worried about that anyhow then it will fit or can be made to fit. If by chance one of you measured wrong and the spring pad center distance is not the same it's not the end of the world if you have to relocate them.
Have you researched and shopped for a GM 14 bolt rear axle? In my opinion they make a great swap for a 1 ton axle, cheap, easy to work on and get parts, and good selection of gear ratios. | | |
