HI Everyone,
A few weeks ago I started to hear this clankity clank sound from under the hood. I thought it was the waterpump bearing going out, but it was the pulley. It had cracked/split connecting all 4 bolt holes together making the middle section loose making the out part flap. It even started cracking up the one side too. :o I welded it up on the outer side, and was fine for a few days, but it started again. :rolleyes: I went to a few yards today before finding a pulley, I get home, and it's 3/8th shorter depth on it. What years, and engines can I get the waterpump puley from that will work on my '62 235? Also what causes the pulley to crack?
