I think the 53,54 car and AD truck
column/jacket were the same diameter,
The difference was the length.
The 1953 and 54 passenger car
turn signal cover assembly I believe will fit on the 1953 truck column/jacket.
It does fit on the 54, 55 1st series truck column/jacket for sure.
1953-54 Chevy BelAir Turn Signal Housing-1955-59 Chevy Truck The 54 truck speedometer had one light socket for the turn signal indicator.
On the 53 you could mount the turn signal light indicator on the dash somewhere.
