Having lived in the KC area for 65 years and having eaten BBQ almost as long, I wouldn't waste time or money on Arthur Bryant's. Smokehouse is the best sit down experience for good BBQ and they do very tender burnt ends. Jack Stack is good BBQ, but it is a little on the dry side (burnt ends). Joe's KC and Q39 are credited with being in the top 10 in the country, but it's a matter of taste. Joe's is a go through line, get food, eat, get out kind of place. Their fame is the Z-man, but I like the Smokie Joe (yesterday lunch). Q39 is a chef kind of place, but good. The couple of times I ate out Smoking Guns BBQ, it was decent, but ther isn't much sit down space and I don't know about hours. Go with one of those and you'll be happy.

I should be at the truck show tomorrow
