Thanks for the advice. I have the name of a guy locally who is supposed to be really knowledgeable with old transmissions and works on a lot of old cars. I'm going to call him and see what he would charge to rebuild it. From what I understand, the syncros are available and if that's all that needs to be replaced then it may not cost that much. We'll see...
