| | | | Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 2,951 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 2,951 | The Tremec is a really nice transmission. I wish I could afford one. However, I am very happy with my T5. As stated, the T5 is more affordable and very suitable for a daily driver.
The Tremec has different positions for the shifter. I think extra money is involved if you want the mid-shift position, so keep that in mind when calculating the costs.
For what it's worth, I will soon be listing a V8 Camaro T5 on eBay since it has not drawn much interest locally. It has all the best features - S10 position shifter, cable speedo connection and close ratio V8 Camaro gears with the 0.73 overdrive and 2.95 first gear.
