| | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,305 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,305 | I made a custom hitch from scratch and would put it up against any store bought class 3 hitch, and it comes out just below the factory bumper and has no issues with bottoming out on anything.
The key to avoiding that is to avoid excessive tongue weight.
