I like Deve's PVC system that hooks up to vacumme port on the manifold and I like my vacumme wipers has anyone used a valve system whereby if it rains you turn off PVC and turn on wipers. Sound weird but what the heck ....I guess a vacumme fuel pump is a better option who makes a good one that's ethanol proof..although they do take up more space.....decisions.
Thanks, Steve
I run a PCV setup on my 49 216 w/vacuum wipers with no problems running both. I tried 3 different PCV valves until I found the one that would work and also allow the wipers to work. I did a thread on it a yr or so ago that detailed the PCV's part number so you can do a search if interested.
As posted, a reservoir and/or double acting pump will vastly improve the stock vacuum wiper system but I never tried either. I just adjust my driving habits when caught out in the rain. You end up letting off the gas quite a bit
