| | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | There is a slight difference in the way oil gets to the rockers starting in 1958 but no big deal.
Starting in 1958 all blocks are drilled to supply oil to hydraulic lifters, whether they were used or not(part of the new oiling system mentioned above).
1958 will have center side mount provisions, you will not use or need.
Good choice for an engine.
