| | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 | Purchased a rebuilt SM420 our truck 1956/57 235 presently running a three speed OD number 2R10K-1 W.G.Div. They say I might need a different bell housing they really don't know because they focus on Jeeps mainly. I have no idea I've never seen the transmission out. They said take pictures and email to them to see if they can determine if I need a new bell housing......we are hoping that one of you may have done this switch and can advise us.
