| | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy 51chris, if I'm understanding your question correctly, you want to use the V8 engines side mounts, but you do not want to adapt the angle mounts of the cast iron V8 bellhousing to the stock engine rear crossmember which uses a flat mount system. How do you propose to support the rear of the engine/transmission? I am not a cabover expert but I thought the rear support of the stock engine was at the bellhousing rather than at the transmission. | | |
