What I learned or re-learned:

-The highest quality turn signal that I have experienced is the Signal Stat 900. I had an 'after market cheapie' that was in service for 10+ years , but...always felt loosey goosey as opposed to the positive detents of the SS-900.

-GROUND IS CRITICAL. We all know this but the only ground is the metal case of the turn signal apparatus with the metal column. If you are protecting your newly painted steering column with say a 1" band of bicycle tube you have no ground. I ran a separate ground-to-frame from a screw on the attachment band.

-I removed my LED front turn/park bulbs and replaced them with 1157's. I couldn't find an electronic flasher to work with my turn signals on all 4 corners.

-The flasher I am using is a NAPA EL-13. It is extended life and has a very pleasing, no-irritating 'click'.

Thanks to Deve, that is the correct place to draw your power...off the headlight switch. Thanks to Mike, beltfed and 52Carl for your suggestions, I used them all!
