Denny, The only paint line I have had any real experience with is PPG. The letters I listed are actually PPG paint prefixes and not acronyms.
PPG prefixes are as follows...
DAR-single stage acrylic enamel
DAU-single stage acrylic urethane
DBU-universal basecoat
DCC-Concept acrylic urethane
PPG also has a line of less expensive products called OMNI. I have used these products with very good results.
