I made my own lock plates with a tin shingle like the roofers use to flash with around chimneys. It's galvanized sheet metal about 5" x 8" in size and since it's galvanized, it won't rust. You can buy them at Home Depot, Lowe's, Truevalue or Ace. Ask for a tin shingle. You can cut it to the size you want with tin snips. There are three pieces used on a flywheel, two bolts on each piece. Just torque down and bend up the corners. It is the safest way to go. Your bolts WILL NOT COME LOOSE with lock plates until you take the bolt loose.
