For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 256 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 256 | 52vff: your -50/+50 ammeter is certainly cool but I believe is fairly common. I picked one up just like it years ago at a salvage yard in central Illinois off of a big bolt....the size I don't remember; some of the other guys can probably tell us for sure. However, since you opened the door.......a question I've had for awhile for you Canadian guys is: did the AD trucks in Canada always read speed in MPH? Or were they calibrated for kilometers? And what about the odometer? Calibrated for miles or kilometers? Haven't you guys always used the metric system/kilometers on your highways? Just wondering....inquiring minds would like to know. Thanks, Dave | | |
