I was just thinking about adding a steering stabilizer to the 48 2 ton.
There is a lot of "shock" in the wheel when hitting pot holes and bumps. This isn't bump steer. it's pounding in your hands
The front end alignment has been checked 1/8 toe in. camber good, caster is around 1-1/2 unloaded (factory spec - 1/2 degree curb, 2-1/2 gross.
Brand new tires 8:20 R20 12 ply steering tread on front, drive tread on rear.
Always used stabilizers in VW buses for the same reason.
