Got my repo radio knobs from Jim Carter truck parts. They were loose also. Inside the knobs are some small metal clips. I used a pick on the flat side of the knob hole and carefully bent the metal clip up toward the hole in the knob. That tightened the knob up on the shaft. Be careful not to break the plastic.
