Nice work Deve, thanks for your follow through!
I dug through my old parts and took a look at my old ammeter gauge. As I was examining it I noticed markings on the end of each terminal. I'm not sure if these would be a factory making or added over the years. Here's a couple of pictures:
Ammeter - Front Ammeter - Back The markings are hard to see, positive (+) on the right terminal and negative (-) on the left terminal as viewed from the rear of the gauge.
Now we know!!
