For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 | I cut two inches off the brake shaft plug welded the pedal plate back on and it worked great there is still about 3.5 inches of travel before the pedal will bottom out after the brakes lock up. The boy with the knee birth defect can go from gas to brake no problem now. He has a 14.5 boot size sometimes the edge of the boot will catch the gas pedal (original) edge. His dad wants to take a sawzall and cut the pedal down .....hold on .....is there a way to move the gas pedal over just a tad without drastic surgery? I'm sure some of you BIGFOOT relatives have had this problem... Thanks, Steve | | |
