not sure about the quality of the current floor patches, but there are also molded brace pieces underneath [available] that are important, especially the ones that attach to the outer area of the floor and angle down to brace the back of the step-well - the factory mounts are fine if they're in good shape, that front cantilever was engineered and doesn't contribute to deterioration - the corrosion of road crud, and more important, the constant wetness inside [which settles into the depressions of the front mount bolts] is what did in yer floor

redesigning the cab mounting setup could easily be an unhappy experience when you find the front sheet metal is harder to fit and the thing doesn't ride well or has a lot more 'drumming' than original - cab makes an integral unit w/ fenders and rad support, and was put on the frame as that whole unit at the factory
