JW51 'Bolter J Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 3,690 Missouri	Do you have your originals? When I replaced my fuel tank, I reused the original split type clamps. Had very good luck soaking them in vinegar for a couple days and then some light scrubbing. They went from very crusty to looking brand new. 1951 3100
