I'm looking to reduce rpms on the highway....I have a 1956 gmc with a 270....I have been told it has a 390 rear and would like to keep the original rear end in the truck ....but maybe change the ring and pinion to lower rpm's at highway speeds....anyone have any experience with this issue??
