Project is a 47 3100. Using a 54 235. I have two distributors, one from the original 216 that is model #1110090 it is a short cap. The other is a swap meet find model #1112396 and it is a tall cap. From doing a little research the #1112396 is for a 54 235 with powerglide. I am not using a powerglide. I plain to use a pertronix # 11168LS with the 3.0 ohm flame thrower coil. With the powerglide distributor I’m guessing that the advance curve will be ok. Am I guessing wrong? Or would the original out of the 216 be a better choice? If the advance curve on the #1112396 is going to be an issue could I just swap the springs? Both distributors look good. Thanks for any help.
